 | Helping others is part of being a good citizen in your community. This not only includes individuals, but businesses as well. Doing something for others, without the expectation of anything in return, is what helps to build strong and prosperous communities. This also has the added benefit of making you feel good!
There are many ways to be of service to our community and the world, it is up to you to find the best way for you. You can do something everyday to make the world a better place, something as simple as picking up a piece of trash on your hike is a form of community service. You don’t have donate a lot of time or money to make a difference, if we all did just one small thing on a regular basis it would make a difference. Sometimes the best way to serve the community is to give of yourself, smile and say hello to a stranger or just opening the door for someone else can make a difference in someone’s day.
